Once upon a time, our exceptional call center team (the Customer Experience Team) clocked in at a hefty three reps: Melissa, Albert and Jenelle. How times flies when you’re a startup! Now, almost a year later, our CET team has been refurbished with a shiny new name (the Amazing Customer Experience Team, or ACE Team), a new home in our office and 18 new members, all of whom are experts in customer service and storage.

Favorite thing about SpareFoot: The people here make coming to work every day amazing. I also like being able to bring my puppies.
One thing people might not know about me: My husband and I have been married since I was 20, so nearly 14 years. We own a little home-based business where we make giant yard games like Giant Jengas and Giant Yahtzee.
Favorite movie: The “Back to the Future” series and “Revenge of the Nerds” (I and II)
Favorite food: Kallaloo. It’s a Caribbean dish.
Favorite celebrity: If I had to choose just one, Hillary Clinton.
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: Being able to make a difference that matters to the company’s bottom line. I also like being able to suggest new ideas for both my department and others that may actually have an impact on the company.
One thing people may not know about me: I am getting back into sailing, and am working on buying a small Sunfish sailboat for next summer.

Favorite thing about SpareFoot: SpareFoot itself. There are so many little things that are wonderful, but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
One thing people may not know about me: I’m a bit of an open book–why would you hide this much awesome? My costuming and modeling work was once featured on io9.
Favorite movie: “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.” I’ve loved this movie since I was a kid, and it never gets old, no matter how many times I watch it.
Favorite food: Thai food. I’m a bit of a wimp if it’s really spicy, but I love Pad Thai or anything with curry.
Favorite celebrity: Mel Brooks. That man is a genius.
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: The people. I’ve never a met a more welcoming, goofy, hard-working group of folks.
One thing people may not know about me: I hate roller coasters. I have a fear of falling, so riding a roller coaster is my greatest fear realized. I am always the person who will stay below and hold your purse while you go ride it.
Favorite movie: “Back to the Future Part II”
Favorite food: Breakfast tacos. Seriously, I can eat these for every meal of the day.
Favorite celebrity: Peter Stormare is pretty underrated and awesome. If not him, maybe Gary Busey?
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: I love working with this fantastic group of people, the amazing lunches and the energy drinks!
One thing people may not know about me: I’m really into cooking. At home, everything I make is typically made from scratch (even on weeknights).
Favorite movie: My love for “Back to the Future” was birthed from a lifelong desire to acquire and own a DeLorean of my own.

One thing people may not know about me: As a toddler, I (briefly) helped support my family by doing catalog photo shoots dressed in girls clothing for local Maryland department stores.

One thing people may not know about me: I studied to be a surgeon in high school, but ended up with a bachelor’s degree in film production instead.
Favorite movie: “Charade” (with Audrey Hepburn and Carey Grant). I love the plot, the characters and the wardrobe, and the soundtrack is amazing. Hepburn, Grant and Mancini! Romance and suspense in Paris–oui!
Favorite food: Tex-Mex or pizza. (Vegetarian por vida!)
Favorite celebrity: If I have to pick just one, Thom Yorke.
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: SpareFeet. I could go on and on about all the things I love about SpareFoot, so it’s hard to pick a “favorite.” It’s really wonderful to work with such an amazing group of people. Work and play with, that is.
One thing people may not know about me: For a couple of years in the late ’90s, I was the singer for a grindcore band. There’s a reason you probably never heard of grindcore—it’s pretty brutal.

Favorite celebrity: Roseanne Barr. She is eccentric, unpredictable, unfiltered, genuine and hysterical.
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: The access to the development team and leadership. We have the ability to make things awesome.
One thing people may not know about me: I used to be a teaching assistant for Elementary Spanish I and Elementary Portuguese while in graduate school. (At the time, TAs did everything but write the overall curriculum and tests). I wrote quizzes, taught classes unassisted, wrote lesson plans, administered oral and written exams, and graded students.
Favorite movie: “The Color Purple” and “Coming to America”
Favorite food: Bacon, jalapeño and cheddar cheeseburger

Favorite thing about SpareFoot: I love that no one ever says, “That’s not my job.” Everyone is always eager and willing to get a job done, no matter what position they hold.
One thing people may not know about me: I have a deep love of ’80s adult contemporary music (aka slow jams), and I can probably recite most of the lyrics of any song made during that time.

One thing people may not know about me: I am allergic to kidney beans.

Favorite food: Milkshakes or anything where cheese plays a major role (pizza, tacos, quesadillas, queso)
Favorite celebrity: Justin Timberlake, since ’98. I still remember random facts I learned about him from Teen Beat, like his birthday (Jan. 31, 1981) and favorite color (baby blue). Also, lately I’m all about Jennifer Lawrence.
Favorite thing about SpareFoot: I love the people so much. I also love the feeling of everyone being in it together and being treated like an adult, which you don’t get everywhere!
One thing people may not know about me: I’m obsessed with reading. I have a yearly goal to read 52 books (one a week), and 2013 will be the third year I’ve been successful!

SpareFoot brings this like no one else. Everyone busts their butts for this company and parties just as hard as Andrew W.K.
One thing people may not know about me: I had attended 11 different schools by the time I graduated from high school.
